JAS BINAG (MAN) is one of the six finalists from Channel 4’s “Bollywood Star” and one of the winners of BollyIdol for BBC. He has since studied nationally and internationally to acquire a diverse range of performance skills.

His theatre credits include playing the dashing Dhruv Raj in the national and international tour of “What You Fancy” which is an adaption of Shakespeare 12th Night directed by Leylah, Tabrej in “Romeo & Laila” for LAYA, Asif in SAPA’s “Forever” directed by Rajesh Bedi, Anum in Mona Sohal’s “Anum” and Prem (the dreamboat Bollywood hero) in the national tour of Precious Bazaar. He was in the devised adaptation of King Lear, playing Don Lear at Watermans.

His television and film credits include “Big B Musical” on Sony TV’s Boogie Woogie, “Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham” directed by Karan Johar, “Movies” by Alam Brothers. He has compeered live shows such as A Tribute to Helen and featured in several music videos.

After A Perfect Ganesh, Jas is taking a sabbatical to India to research for "Big B - The Musical" where he is portraying the screen persona of the “angry, young man” Amitabh Bachchan. Besides acting, he has an LLB Honours in Law and is a qualified financial planning manager. He is an avid sportsman and actively raises awareness of mental health within the Asian community.

ELIZABETH GRAHAM (MARGARET) was born in Edinburgh, where she trained as a teacher of classical and modern dance. Her extensive stage work includes Loneliness...Loneliness (Actors & Writers London), Still Life (Bridewell), Candide (Barbican), Death of a Salesman (Birmingham Rep), Hamlet (Finborough), Bitter Sweet (Exeter Northcott), The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Boeing Boeing, See How They Run (Farnham Redgrave), Whose Life is it Anyway?, The Man Who Came to Dinner (Cheltenham Everyman), Salad Days (Sheffield Crucible), Irene (Adelphi) and Cabaret (Liverpool Playhouse). Most recently, she played “Mrs Beane” in Vampirella by Angela Carter, The Curious Room's inaugural production at George IV Theatre Space in Brixton, with proceeds donated to The Kids Company.

Film, television and radio work include The Oxford Murders (Oxford Crimes Ltd), Small Talk (Chameleon Productions), Shooting Stars in August (FFP Media GmbH), The Children of Dynmouth (BBC), Rainbow (Thames), A Place of Her Own (STV) and Excess Baggage (Write 4 Radio)

Elizabeth also sings regularly with the London Symphony Chorus, and in April performs in the world première of James MacMillan's St John Passion with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican, conducted by Sir Colin Davis.


 
TONY HASNATH (GANESH) was last seen as Pi, shipwrecked in the Pacific Ocean along side a 450lb Royal Bengal Tiger for Twisting Yarn’s world premier of the Life of Pi. Prior to that he was fighting giant wasps in the back gardens of Leighton Buzzard as Spiller in The Borrowers at Basingstoke Haymarket; a time before that he was mischievously jumping from tree to tree as Mowgli in The Jungle Book, in an International Tour for the Birmingham Stage Company; he was part bird, cat and monkey as MinkyMankeyMonkeyMan in Stone Soup for M.A.C, and played Seymour in The Little Shop Of Horrors for Komart Theatre. During his training, Tony played Melchiore in Spring Awakening, Clarence in Richard III and the ever playful but naughty gremlin Rumplestiltskin in Rumplestiltskin, all produced by Sussex Downs Academy.

His television and film credits include: Geoff Hurst in Morris 2274 for Two Hats and Channel 5 and Tony Lee in Rebirth of the Dragon, a feature film for Martirossian Productions.

Besides acting, Tony enjoys practicing martial arts and is a student of the WuTan Martial Arts Foundation practicing: Kung Fu, and Tai Chi, Capoeira, Jeet Kune Do. His most recent interest is Parkour/ Free Running.

Tony lives in Brighton, mischievously Free Running in and around its landscapes when he’s not jumping around on stage for Phizzical Productions.

REBECCA TREMAIN (KATHERINE) is a graduate in Drama and English of Goldsmith College, London University. Early career highlights include “A Question of Taste” for BBC 1; part of Tiger Aspect’s Funny Business Season: “The Biz” for BBC 1, directed by Nigel Douglas; “England, My England” for Channel 4, directed by David Blair and the world premiere of “Meat” at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, directed by Gemma Bodinetz.

Rebecca recently returned to college and studied for an MA in Classical Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. As a mature student, she inevitably found herself playing a selection of Shakespeare’s male characters, including Don Pedro in “Much Ado About Nothing” and Duke Senior / Duke Federick in a female cast of “As You Like It”.

After graduating, Rebecca fulfilled a long cherished dream to visit India and spent a happy and rewarding time at a Yoga Centre in Kerela, where she too fell under the irresistible spell of kingfishers, vegetable biryani and the ever present and the all embracing Ganesh.
