An angry young man from the slums heads to the city of dreams to become a Bollywood superstar like Amitabh Bachchan. But when his favourite actor has a near fatal accident whilst filming, it triggers the young man’s bipolar disorder. He begins to suffer from delusions and hallucinations where he imagines that he is Amitabh Bachchan. As he spirals out of control, he is admitted to a mental institute.
A remarkable three act musical blends the peppy music of the 70s with cinema’s most iconic dialogues and marks one of the most defining moments in Bollywood history on stage. Featuring a cast of over 20 actors and dancers, the bi‐lingual musical is available in Hindi or English with some Hindi (English surtitles).
Amitabh Bachchan is the first actor from popular Indian cinema to be featured at Madame Tussauds and BBC Superstar of the Millennium.
