Kiss the Women
Directed by Peter Hayes
A favourite from the 2009 National Arts festival in Grahamstown, it is a real and honest account of a soccer playing black lesbian from a South African township following the murder of her friend by a mob of young men in Khayelitsha in 2006. Punctuated with football, dance, song, sex and love this one woman show suggests to kiss the women is better than killing them.
