| My experience: |
To sum up in one sentence,
'A DREAM COME TRUE'. I was having the experience of a
lifetime travelling in Australia, and many thought I was
crazy to cut my travels short and get on the first
flight back just to attend the auditions. But little did
I know that I left one amazing experience to start
another!
The character I play is very challenging and at
times I almost felt like I wasn't doing any justice.
However through constant practice and guidance I proved
myself wrong and now I want to pursue my acting more
then anything!
I'm always the last to get ready
and prefer to take my time, but somehow I have the most
costume changes throughout the play and therefore cause
chaos backstage! And to be honest I'd have to say that
now one of my biggest achievements is being able to put
on a sari in less then 5 minutes!!
This experience has been made even more special due to
the team I have had the pleasure of working with. In
fact I feel more as part of a family then I do a team as
everyone has bonded extremely well from the beginning
and have ensured and helped each other bring out their
best qualities and strengths. Although certain members
have played a number of very 'unnecessary' jokes on me
(mentioning no names in particular), I have to say I
wouldn't have them any other way! |
