My experience: |
I was one of the BollyIdol judges,
and as the co-writer, I ensured the shortlisted applicants
were suitable for the characters.
When Fagun couldn't perform on some dates due to her exams,
I became her understudy. (I was
the last resort). For me this year has been the
best ever as not only have I seen my one paragraph story
develop into a show,
but I have actually overcome my phobia of acting!!!
Playing Shania is quite fun!
I love the costumes I have to wear as her & the overall
styling it’s just so Barbie
- DARING but nice. I also love the insecure looks on
the faces of women I meet in the foyer after the show.
However I enjoyed playing the part of Tara better as it
allowed me to take all my daily frustrations out on the set
whilst rehearsing without having to be nice to anyone after
all it’s method acting!!!
PB has taught me that everything is achievable through hard
work, patience, team work,
innovation, improvisation,
planning & above all FAITH in Samir Bhamra
- The man who not only makes dreams come true but is
actually the creator of dreams. I must add that this man has
shouted at me more than he has at anybody else but then
again he is the only person who knows how to bring out the
best in me & actually knows what the best in me is. |

I’ll continue working in the factory of dreams with Samir weave our next dream
