  PARVEEN BHAIRON back to Cast

Nickname: Parv, Parveen Babi
Involvement When I first joined the Precious Bazaar crew I was a timid, quiet girl. But later on in the rehearsal process I began to open out and feel more at home. I would not be able to put my finger on how my involvement made a difference but just being a part of the cast has given me a circle of new sweet, supportive friends who I can call my companions. I would like to finish off by saying a huge thank you to Samir and Leylah for helping me and teaching me about myself in having confidence in my physical appearance and understanding the importance of letting go of yourself and absorbing the character your playing, thank you again you have been great friends and excellent mentors I hope I get to work with you both in many more productions to come.

My experience: I am a professional actress and dancer, I am trained in contemporary dance from physical theatre to bollywood dance and acting, I am a strong versatile actress who has played a range of many different characters, right from a 50year old mother to a modern day club dancer. I get a lot of my training from Birmingham Reportary Drama School. . I extended my movement repertoire by working with a professional Polish theatre company where I did physical theatre intensively for a long period of time. Just recently I have worked with a professional bollywood choreographer Called Rajesh Chohan, where I performed bollywood dance sequences in various charity festivals. I have performed in the Edinburgh Fringe festival where I have acted in three short movies, and many theatre productions.
Aspirations In every breath I take I believe that I am born to act and dance. In the near future I hope to become an actress where I can express my passion and flair for the dream I wish to fulfil, AN ACTRESS!

In the mean time I will go for as many auditions for bollywood stage shows, contemporary theatre productions , short films, if I am fortunate enough feature films, anything which I feel is satisfactory and I have the confidence for. I will also be auditioning for Phyzzical productions next stage production, ‘Big B - The Musical’.
Currently I am working on a feature film called ‘Mr Sweetheart’, which is my existing major project, this is with South East productions. It is a British comedy, in this film I play the leading lady whose called ‘Sara’.
