Kanchan Jadeja (Chair)

Kanchan has had a varied career in leadership roles. She leads her consultancy Spiritus which has worked with international private companies and recently local government. Kanchan believes in ‘spirit’ based leadership and the vital and crucial role of diversity in the arts in telling untold stories. Her company is called Spiritus which is her core value, mission and passion. That is, through human spirit and working together great things are possible.

Previously, she has worked in the now Department of Education, with DCMS and other Whitehall Departments, on youth policy and community cohesion. Currently, her company is approved by the Department of Education’s National Panel for Safeguarding children. She has managed multi million budgets.

She has led local and national voluntary organisations as a CEO and asst director. She was the chair and later president of the National council of Voluntary youth service. Currently, she is on the board of Leap Confronting conflict as their safeguarding lead trustee.

Her passion for the arts and the Phizzical mission is to support the telling of those stories. Her experience in arts ranges from support local arts and artists, as a founder member of the Peepul Centre, working on diversity with the Media Trust and the community channel and other arts based organisations and activities.

Kaleel Anwar

Kaleel is a Lawyer with an arts background based in Cheshire and also in London. His legal practice focusses on litigation and joined Phizzical as a director in 2021. He has worked on various highly confidential cases involving celebrities and members of the Royal family outside of the UK and has been involved in other cases internationally reported by the press. He regularly appears on TV, is quoted in the press and conducts radio interviews discussing topical legal issues. His recent appearances include Sky News, Channel 5 News, The Times, Daily Mail, The Guardian, BBC London, Asian Network & Classic FM.

Kaleel trained in drama, music and dance in the North West before pursuing masterclasses and professional work in London on the West End. He has performed at the Royal Opera House and many other prestigious venues in and outside of London. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an associate artist with the BBC.

Bhavika Chauhan

Bhavika Chauhan is an ISEB certified business analyst with experience in the media, financial and technology services sectors. She is currently the Business Relationship Manager at The Walt Disney Company overseeing Studio & Motion Picture, and distribution of films across the European sector. She was previously a Business Systems Analyst at Capital One and Logica.

Ramila Chauhan

Ramila comes from a background in design and print, having owned a family business for several years. With expertise in design, production control, and finance. Her love for music, books, and the arts led her to initiate an online venture, selling Bollywood DVDs, CDs, books, and Indian stationery, primarily targeting the Asian market. In addition to her involvement in the print business, Ramila currently dedicates part of her time to working with St Philip’s Centre, a charity specialising in Interfaith training. In this capacity, she collaborates with schools and places of worship.

Dr Jennie Jordan

Dr Jennie Jordan is Associate Professor in Creative and Cultural Industries at De Montfort University where she teaches creative business management and cultural policy. Her research interests focus on arts and festivals as influential institutions within urban cultural policy and on questions of cultural inclusion. She has published on festivalisation and creative leadership and the business-side of festival management.

She has extensive experience as a senior manager and consultant within the UK working with festivals, arts centres and municipal authority arts services. She was a member of the senior management team at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Leicester where she had responsibility for marketing and customer services and oversaw the transformation of communications at the start of the digital era. She has worked as a consultant to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, Arts Council England, Nottingham Playhouse, Youth Music and East Midlands Cultural Consortium amongst others advising on marketing, widening participation and policy.

Parminder Khela

Parminder Khela is an operations executive with skills in credit control, logistics and digitisation. He has orchestrated and maintained business systems and set up effective communication channels with healthcare professionals and fellow colleagues to effectively resolve data entry and prescription issues for the pharmaceutical company Celgene. Working with global companies such as Norsk, DHL, Harrods and Cath Kitson, he has been responsible for all exports, ensuring new processes are set up for Customs post Brexit. His formative years at Slough District Council in implementing and managing safeguarding practices have ensured Phizzical’s policies reflect the needs of vulnerable young people and adults.

Rishi Lad is a youthful, intelligent, and self-motivated individual with a passion for wealth management, education, and the arts. With an unwavering determination, discipline, ambition, and resilience, Rishi is constantly seeking new ways to inspire, motivate, and empower others.

At the age of 16, Rishi embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by venturing into the fashion industry. Rishi’s entrepreneurial spirit was recognized, leading to a feature on a talk show in the USA and an article in the UK.

Driven by a keen interest in finance, Rishi embarked on a self-taught journey into the world of trading. Starting at the age of 15, Rishi has gained valuable experience in forex, cryptocurrencies, stocks, and funds.

A quick learner with a thirst for knowledge, Rishi embraces new challenges with open arms. His commitment to personal and professional growth is evident. He is an active member of the ESG and Mental Health First Aid committee within the wealth management firm he works in.

Beyond the realm of business and finance, Rishi is a passionate Governor dedicated to making a positive impact on children’s education. With a vision to enhance the learning experience of young minds, he is committed to increasing the school’s revenue, ensuring that every child has access to quality education.

Rishi is also a strong advocate for the arts and the creativeness in young people’s education. He believes that the arts are essential for nurturing creativity, critical thinking skills, and self-expression. He is particularly passionate about promoting the representation of arts in the theatre sector, especially in Leicester.
