REBECCA TREMAIN is a graduate in Drama and English of Goldsmith College, London University.
Early career highlights include “A Question of Taste” for BBC 1; part of Tiger Aspect’s Funny Business Season: “The Biz” for BBC 1, directed by Nigel Douglas; “England, My England” for Channel 4, directed by David Blair and the world premiere of “Meat” at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth, directed by Gemma Bodinetz.
Rebecca recently returned to college and studied for an MA in Classical Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. As a mature student, she inevitably found herself playing a selection of Shakespeare’s male characters, including Don Pedro in “Much Ado About Nothing” and Duke Senior / Duke Federick in a female cast of “As You Like It”.
After graduating, Rebecca fulfilled a long cherished dream to visit India and spent a happy and rewarding time at a Yoga Centre in Kerela, where she too fell under the irresistible spell of kingfishers, vegetable biryani and the ever present and the all embracing Ganesh.
