Samir Bhamra nominated for Arts and Culture award

Samir Bhamra (artistic director, Phizzical Productions and creative director, London Asian Film Festival) has been shortlisted as one of the finalists in the Arts & Culture Awareness category, at the 4th British Indian Awards presented by BDO.

Now in their 4th year, The British Indian Awards presented by BDO aim to acknowledge and honour a wide range of achievements by people of Indian origin which cover various aspects of society including business, charity, sport, arts and culture and much more. The evening will be one of celebration, reflecting the significant role that British Indians have in society.

The prestigious & glamorous award ceremony will be held on the 15th July 2016 at The Athena Leicester.  Previous winners of the Arts and Culture Awareness award include Anish Kapoor and Piali Ray.
