Phizzical is seeking committed Trustees to join our Board.

For over 20 years, we have been telling stories that rarely appear on British stages: stories rooted in South Asian culture, diaspora experience and contemporary Britain. Phizzical is now entering a new chapter as a newly registered charity. As we move into this next phase, we are expanding our Board of Trustees to help guide the organisation’s growth and long-term sustainability. If you care about the arts and believe you could contribute your skills and perspective, we encourage you to apply – even if you have not been a trustee before.

We are looking for new Trustees to join our Board who can bring a range of skills and perspectives to support the charity’s development. Trustees help guide our strategic direction, share specialist knowledge and act as ambassadors for our work as we continue to grow our reach locally, nationally and internationally. Some skills that we are looking for:

• Business development in creative industries

• Legal experience in creative sector

• Strategic experience in fundraising, cultivating and securing donors and patrons for arts projects.

• Financial expertise and knowledge of charitable regulation either in the arts sector or the wider charity sector.

• People committed to addressing the barriers experienced by working class and low socio-economic artists to ensure they can sustain careers and thrive in the theatre industry.
