“Freshly Brewed” is a sibling duo of British born musicians, Rishii Chowdhury and Samyami Sangeeta Chowdhury-Sarma.

They perform rich and authentic music from Assam using vocals and traditional instruments such as bansuri, peppa, tabla, nagara and dogor. The audience are provided with a snapshot of Assam’s unique culture and heritage of folk, and celebration of major harvest festivals such as ‘Bihu’. The soundscape of ‘Freshly Brewed’, will induce the audience to imagine themselves sitting on a fisherman’s boat on the mighty River Brahmaputra whilst sipping on a fragrant Assam tea.
