In Search of My Father delves into the ancient past to shine a light in the face of the modern black woman through visceral theatre, enchanting dance and evocative music.
Marisol in a quest for self-discovery has given up her well-paid job to embark on a visit to Jamaica and to find the Jamaican man that will father a child. On her journey she meets Sambhota, the former owner of a once thriving dance hall and Eugene Williams, MP and debonair landowner.
