

Loot is a digital short film made by Natalie Perera and Hamza Jeetoa. It features Shaheen Khan and Shahid Iqbal Khan.
Natalie Perera is British actor and filmmaker. She studied Text & Performance at RADA and trained in Classical Acting at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As an actor, Natalie played the leading role in hit Caribbean musical, Bazodee, winner of multiple awards at London Asian Film Festival 2017. As a filmmaker, she has written and directed a number of short films. Her last two, Loot and National Anthem have been commissioned by Tongues on Fire and the latter has gone on to be selected at dozens of festivals including BAFTA-qualifying, Underwire.
Hamza Jeetooa is a British actor and filmmaker. After graduating with a Business degree from Queen Mary, University of London, he trained in Screen Acting at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As an actor, he played Manish in the Indian Partition episode of Doctor Who (2018) and has featured in other shows including Zomboat! and Luther. As a filmmaker, Hamza has produced and directed ten short films. He has worked with Tongues on Fire on three films and they have gone on to be selected for BAFTA-qualifying festivals including Aesthetica and Underwire.
