After the death of their father, three estranged sisters of dual heritage (Indian/white), meet at their father’s shoe shop to hear the reading of his will; where years of resentment finally boil over.

One of only 7 from 445 applicants short-listed for the BBC Films Screenplay First Award, Omar joined the BBC Writers’ Room shadow scheme for the CBBC show The Dumping Ground. He is currently part of The Criterion New Writing Programme.
