Direct from the West End comes Bombay Superstars, a vibrant, romantic musical that brings to life the Disco, Divas, and Drama that shaped Bollywood legends.

Created by Sâmir Bhamra, this unforgettable show dives into the heart of 1970s Bollywood—an era of dazzling cinema, turbulent love, and high-stakes ambition. In a world where secrets lurk behind the screen, the orphaned Rani arrives in Bombay, desperate to meet famed film director Pavan Picturewalla. But Pavan has secrets to protect, especially from his beloved daughter, Mala, who falls for the charming, aspiring actor Arjun. Meanwhile, Bombay’s original superstar, Bunty, plots to take it all in a scandalous war of fame and desire.

Set against the glittering backdrop of Bombay’s golden age of cinema, Bombay Superstars is a thrilling rollercoaster of passion, treachery, and ambition. The show features iconic Bollywood classics such as Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Dum Maro Dum, Juma Chumma, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum and Chura Liya—alongside fresh new hits by homegrown talent Robby Khela, with musical arrangements by Hinal Pattani.

With a company of 23 stellar performers, this electrifying production showcases British Asian stars Rekha, Chirag Rao, Robby Khela, and Omar Khan, along with Indian actresses Sowmya JayKrish, Rukmini Sircar, and Sheetal Pandya. The stage comes alive with live music from the dynamic 515 Crew and energising choreography by Leena Patel.

As the fourth ‘Made in the UK’ South Asian musical to grace the West End and the first by an independent British Asian producer, Bombay Superstars is a cultural triumph that celebrates the golden era of Bollywood like never before. Don’t miss this vibrant, larger-than-life experience!
